At Welshpool Community Haven, we envisage a community hub, where every individual has opportunity to access well-being opportunities, feel part of a supported community, and the opportunity to live a fulfilling life. We strive to create a community where people are not isolated or lonely and where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential through empowerment, training and support.
We hope to create strong connections interweaving our community from young to old, supporting and enabling connections and creating welcoming opportunities to engage with the wider community.
We welcome feedback and community input and will endeavour to involve the community and their voices in our vision and priorities, so the the people are really involved in shaping the future of our charity.

We provide a space for some of the elderly residents (65+) of the town to come together and enjoy a weekly meal together and other activities ranging from games, guest speakers to craft and digital skills. The activities follow the input from those attending and will be co-produced following their lead.

Lunch is provided by Meals on wheels – also operating from the centre. The project includes helping people with transport to attend the venue, where needed and possible, and will provide a warm meal and drinks.
